Nestled in Roscoe, NY, at the western foothills of the Catskill Mountains, The Yarra is a warm and inviting boutique inn for those looking to escape into nature while enjoying exceptional food and wine. Just minutes from the renowned Beaverkill and Willowemoc Rivers—prime destinations for fly fishing—our inn is also close to local breweries, distilleries, and restaurants.

Originally built in 1890 by the Baxter family, The Yarra has been thoughtfully renovated to blend historic charm with modern comfort. We offer four beautifully appointed rooms, each with a private bathroom. Your stay includes a light continental breakfast, and we also feature a full dinner menu for an elevated dining experience.

Named after the Yarra River in Melbourne, Australia, The Yarra is inspired by owners Sonya and Paul’s travels and their love for small boutique inns. Our menus, created by chef and owner Sonya, reflect the vibrant Melbourne food scene—a fusion of global flavors shaped by its diverse culinary heritage.
