    • All reservations require a valid credit card at the time of booking.

    • For Standard Rates: Cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in or no-shows will incur a 100% charge. This amount will be issued as a credit toward future stays, valid for 1 year and applicable exclusively to our Standard Rate.

    • Policies vary for specials, packages, and prepaid reservations. Please review the booking description of your reservation.

    • For bookings through ALL third party platforms, please review the booking terms and conditions on those sites, noting that they cannot be transferred and will not receive credit notes in the case of cancellation. We recommend booking directly through The Yarra if you think there is a chance your plans may change.

  • Check-in is from 3 PM.

  • Check-out is by 12 pm

  • Early check-ins and late check-outs are not guaranteed. Please contact us to inquire about availability for check-ins before 3 pm or late departures.

    • Notify us at the time of booking if you are bringing a dog.

    • Dogs must be fully trained and leashed in common areas.

    • Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their dog.

    • Barking or disturbances must be controlled to not inconvenience other guests.

    • Guests are responsible for all property damages and personal injuries caused by their pet.

    • Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Yarra, its owners, and operators from all liability and damage caused by their pet.

    • The Yarra reserves the right to charge for damages caused by pets.

  • Noise at The Yarra

    The Yarra hosts dinners that typically conclude between 10:30 and 11:00 pm. We kindly ask guests to be mindful of noise in the upstairs hallway, especially during early mornings or late evenings, to ensure a peaceful environment for everyone.

  • Outside Food & Drink

    We offer a selection of wine, beer, and cider for purchase on-site. We kindly request that outside alcoholic beverages not be consumed in the public areas of the inn, though you are welcome to enjoy them in the privacy of your room. Additionally, when the Yarra’s dining room is open and our menu is available, we ask that outside food not be brought into the public areas of the inn.

  • Smoking

    The Yarra is a non-smoking property.

    If evidence of smoking is found during your stay or after your departure, an additional $250.00 will be charged for professional cleaning.

  • Safety

    All rooms contain fire escape maps, fire extinguishers, and escape ladders for emergencies.

  • Turndown Service & Housekeeping

    At The Yarra, turndown service and daily housekeeping are not provided. However, we are happy to supply fresh towels upon request during your stay.

  • Pack N Play / Fold Away Beds

    The Yarra does not provide Pack N Plays or fold away beds.

    If bringing your own Pack N Play, book the Blue or White Rooms for safety reasons.
