French Provincial Cooking: Poulet à l’Estragon and Crème Brûlée
In this hands-on class, you'll master the art of preparing three timeless French dishes: Poulet à l’Estragon (wine-braised chicken in a creamy tarragon sauce), a seasonal vegetable side, and the elegant Crème Brûlée.
What to Expect
Interactive and Fun Environment: Work alongside fellow students in groups of 2–4, sharing workstations and equipment in a lively, hands-on setting led by Sonya, The Yarra’s chef and owner.
Shared Meal: After cooking, enjoy the fruits of your labor together in a delicious shared meal.
Class Duration: Each class lasts approximately 3 hours, including both cooking and dining time.
Small Group Setting: Class sizes are capped at 8 students to ensure a personalized experience.
Active Participation: You’ll be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class, so comfortable, closed-toe shoes are recommended. Please tie back long hair for safety.
Important Information
The Yarra’s recipes use a variety of common cooking and baking ingredients, including fruits, vegetables, nuts, meats, spices, and wheat flours. If you have any food allergies, please contact us in advance to discuss your needs. Note that recipe adjustments cannot be made during class.
